Through days of visiting the only school in the Gadheri Village outside of Jabalpur city, we found out that the Indian Rural Education System lacks the number of skilled teachers. The employed teachers teach 2-3 classes simultaneously, without seeing the student’s progress individually. Hence, we redesigned the content modalities and teaching methodology in a manner that students can understand more with lesser help from teachers.

Initial research and brainstorming
The project aims to solve system-level problems present in the Indian Rural Education System through redesign of the textbook to enable learning without much help from teachers, as skilled teachers are scarce in rural schools.
We started with English because once a student is well versed in English, it is easier for him/her to pursue his interests and hobbies, through several sources like books, animations, videos, and online resources.

We are mostly concentrated on the design of the book as they are easily available in rural areas as compared to other technical modalities. The attributes of the book that we designed are:

- Through the survey, We made a list of English words that are spoken by everyone so the words make more sense to the kids
- Composition with words to have repetition
- Comics with least text, for easy understandability
- Exercise- drawing, easy to understand writing skills, etc
- Game- placard and roleplay
- animation and hand puppet video
- physical training to teach numbers
- rhymes through audios for accurate pronunciation
- Talks for better communication skill
